When Alonso and Giselle planned their wedding at Lost Pines Resort, they envisioned something intimate yet unforgettable. As their Austin micro wedding photographer, I loved capturing every laugh, hug, and happy tear as they celebrated with their closest family and friends. Their goal was simple, to make it official here in Austin before their larger celebration in Mexico City this coming spring and the day could not have been more joyful.

Alpacas, Mariachis, and Unforgettable Moments
One of the highlights of this Lost Pines Resort wedding was during cocktail hour when guests were greeted by alpacas! It was such a playful surprise that had everyone laughing and reaching for their phones. Just as the evening began to glow with golden light, the sound of live mariachi music filled the air. It was the perfect nod to their Mexican roots and a lively way to kick off the evening’s celebration.

Why Micro Weddings Feel So Meaningful
Micro weddings like Alonso and Giselle’s show that smaller doesn’t mean less special. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. These gatherings allow couples to slow down, connect deeply with the people who matter most, and focus on what truly counts. From heartfelt toasts to spontaneous alpaca selfies, these are the kinds of memories that define the day.

Planning Your Own Micro Wedding in Austin
If you’re dreaming of a cozy, heartfelt celebration surrounded by nature, Lost Pines Resort is a beautiful spot to consider. The property offers scenic outdoor views, refined accommodations, and a peaceful Texas backdrop perfect for a micro wedding or elopement.
As an Austin micro wedding photographer, I love capturing these moments that blend emotion, laughter, and a touch of adventure. Whether it’s alpacas at cocktail hour or mariachis under the stars, your story deserves to be told in a way that feels uniquely you.
