Looking for a proposal photographer in Austin, Franly reached out to me with plans to propose marriage to his girlfriend. He mentioned he’d be traveling from Houston for a day and wanted to do it then. With his girlfriend’s clinical being the same week, we had a very small window to work with. Since his original location didn’t work out, he decided on the view in front of the Long Center.

I arrived early to claim the space, and good thing I did! There was a couple there taking photos of one another. I let them know a proposal was about to happen and they were kind enough to let me have the space. I sat nearby pretending to scroll on my phone and when they arrived they attempted to take a self so I offered to take photo of them with her phone. As I walked away, I reached for my camera to capture the proposal. She had no idea!

With the proposal an hour before sunset, we were able to get formal and candid photos of the two of them. What a fun evening!
