Callie + Kiki’s Seaholm District Engagement Session reignited my love for morning sessions! The original plan was to be photographed on a Friday evening however as the day went on, the skies got darker and it poured heavily. With the reschedule, I don’t think we could have asked for better weather. The Texas sun was shining bright with just the right about of breeze. Austin’s Seaholm District provided a captivating backdrop, with its vibrant lawn and views of the skyline and city life. I even got to hang out with their sweet pups!

How They Met

Their story began back in high school when they crossed paths as friends of friends. Fate had a special plan for them, as year after year they found themselves exchanging birthday wishes. Can you believe they share the same birthday? It was a simple comment on one of Callie’s photos that sparked the flame of their connection. From that moment on, their love story began to unfold.

Costa Maya Marriage Proposal

Their connection led them to a beach vacation in Costa Maya, Mexico, where Kiki crafted a proposal straight out of a Novela. With the sound of a Mariachi band serenading them, he popped the question. Overwhelmed with joy, she said “yes,” sealing their destiny as soulmates.

I had an amazing time getting to know Callie and Kiki at their Seaholm District Engagement Session. We wish them nothing but all the best as they approach their wedding day. I’m excited to celebrate alongside them and Malleret Designs at Springdale Station later this year.
